If you are looking for a perfect skiing in Liptov, try to visit the ski resort of Žiarce.
Ski Center Žiarce is located near the Liptov village of Pavčina Lehota at the foot of the Low Tatras - at the entrance to Demänovská Valley.
There are 2 ski lifts in the resort, which serve 2 ski slopes suitable especially for beginner and intermediate skiers
With artificial snow on the slopes as well as the northern orientation of slopes, you can enjoy skiing until late spring.
The ski resort is especially popular among families with children, as there is also children's ski lift and a ski school and kindergarten here.
You can also enjoy skiing in the evening lighting. The area also includes 7 km of groomed cross-country trails.
In the resort, you will also find traditionally ski rental and service and of course also a restaurant, where you can refresh yourself.
After the winter season, the resort is still busy, since the bobsleigh track is in operation from April - the steepest track in the area.
