Zlá voda (The Bad Water), also known as Rojkov traventine hill, is a remarkable travertine formation with a crater spring of mineral water and a circular lake on top. The crater has a diameter of approximately 10 m and is mainly used for swimming in hot summer months.
The mineral water in the crater is not the hottest one, but it is a healing agent and due to the excretion of CO2, it is slightly bubbling. People feel tingling when they bathe. Water has beneficial effects on the joints and skin diseases. In the travertine walls of the pond, the fingerprints of prehistoric trees can be seen when looking carefully.
The lake is located on the outskirts of Rojkov - the local part of the village of Stankovany. It is easily accessible all year round.
