Swimming in natural lakes is becoming increasingly popular, as evidenced by the most frequently visited sports and recreational area of Zlaté piesky (Golden Sands), located in the quiet and pleasant environment of the capital Bratislava and its city district Ružinov.

Visitors can enjoy swimming in extremely clean water without water plants and a sandy beach surrounded by water. The lake has a width of about 400 meters and a depth of 30 meters.
