Zoo Contact

In Liptovský Mikuláš, right next to the popular Tatralandia, you will find a unique contact zoo where animals become true companions for the whole family. More than 400 animals from 115 species offer a chance to explore the fascinating world of nature up close. In this zoo, it's not unusual to encounter big cat cubs, such as bears, lions, tigers, pumas, or lynxes, right before your eyes.

A highlight for many visitors is the aviary with tame parrots and squirrels, where you can experience close contact with various animal species. The experience is enriched by feeding monkeys and observing the lives of macaques and other primates. The exhibition of tame foxes is also interesting, featuring not only red foxes but also arctic foxes and even fennec foxes.

Children will enjoy the chance to ride ponies or horses, and the butterfly garden full of colorful butterflies and flowers brings joy to all. Those seeking something unusual can try the tunnel among bats with their impressive wingspans.
