Charming Krivánska Little Fatra offers a rich tangle of hiking trails for recreational as well as demanding tourists. The locality is surrounded by beautiful nature, offering you the beauty of the land and the dazzling and majestic hills, such as Osnica.

Osnica Hill is one of the less visited hills, so you do not have to worry about the crowd of tourists in the peaks and enjoy the magnificent views more or less alone. From the grassy peak of Osnica, you can see the surrounding end of Little Fatra with the nearby proudly towering hill Greater Rozsutec.

The slopes of Osnica are overgrown with dense coniferous forests, which in some areas turn into beautifully open meadows dotted with rich flowering. During the winter, this location is covered with snow-white duvets, so hiking in the winter will offer a completely different picture of this beautiful piece of nature.

Osnica is accessible by several marked hiking trails. The easiest ascent is from the village of Párnica or settlement of Lučivná (approx. 4 km). The hike is moderately difficult, the more you get closer to the top, the steeper the route, but also recreational tourists can handle it.
