The small village of Hrabkov boasts of a rarity that testifies the exclusively marine origin of the surrounding countryside. In the middle of the fields in the southern part of the cadastre of Hrabkov, there is a natural monument of Pudding Stones of Hrabkov.
It is a reef-like relief, impressive rock formations of unusual shape consisting of pudding and fine-grained sandstone. In their walls, it is possible to see the abundant prehistoric remains of marine animals and plant derit.
The uncovered geological profile has a high educational value and demonstrates that once in prehistoric times, the area was the bottom of the ocean. At present, this rocky relief is surrounded by moss and beautiful rock roses.
The pudding stones of Hrabkov are accessible by a maintained field road from the village of Hrabkov. The pudding stones represent an ideal trip for families with children as well as lovers of paleontology and nature.
