Today, the palace, which stands out in terms of heritage, artistic, creative and architectural values, is included in the list of national cultural monuments of Slovakia. In the palace there is also a library, whose mission is to bring the history and current events in the city of Žilina, as well as art and creation of Žilina artists. Part of the palace is the Bookshop of Lida Mlichová, which has a long family tradition and is a rarity in Slovakia. It has been operating as an independent bookbinding workshop since.
