In the village of Bzince pod Javorinou, there is a birthhouse of the well-known Slovak writer of children's books - Ľudmila Riznerová - Podjavorinská. In her honour and memory, there is a Memorial Room, which is part of the Trenčín Museum.
The memorial room of Ľudmila Podjavorinská was opened for public in 1960 and is decorated in the style of traditional folk culture and presents the life and work of the writer. In addition to memories of literature, visitors can also get to know the folk culture and traditions of this municipality in the region of scattered settlements.
On the exterior facade of the house, there is a plaque and the surrounding area of the house is decorated with a memorial with a bust of this important Slovak author.
