Bachledova Valley is a popular tourist destination that offers excellent skiing opportunities in winter. In the summer, however, the surrounding countryside blossoms into beauty and offers excellent hiking opportunities.

If you would like to find yourself in the clouds at least for a while, head out to the Bachledka Lookout Tower. It is an ideal place for children to have fun to their heart's content.

Bachledka Lookout Tower is located on the ridge of Spišská Magura Mountain Chain, near the tourist cross-road Malá Poľana. Lookout tower rises to 14 meters, has a beautiful wooden structure and four floors with observation platforms. It was built in 2011. The bottom of the lookout tower includes engraved quotes of famous personalities - Sophocles, Victor Hugo or Mark Twain.

The highest viewing platform offers you beautiful views of Pieniny Mountains, the ridge of Spišská Magura, the ridge of Belianske Tatry or even the highest peaks of the High Tatras. There are also a map and binoculars available that will make it easier for you to find your bearings in the hills observed.

You can get to the observation tower easily, just follow the blue-marked trail through the ridge of Spišská Magura. Or you can get there also by marked hiking trails from villages of Ždiar, Jezersko and Malá Frankovka or by some of the ski lifts. There are marked cycling routes in the locality as well.
