If you are looking for a pleasant relaxation place in the lap of nature and you do not want to overcome the altitude meters, or climb to the top half of the day, the hill of Malá Baňa is perfect for you. It is Located near Bratislava, in the Little Carpathians Mountains. It is rather low, but it offers a beautiful walk and views.

After an unpretentious ascent, beautiful semi-circular views await you, especially of the patulous treetops and the hills of the Little Carpathians. The top part also offers the possibility of overnight or camping. There is also a fireplace, a small seating area and even a wooden swing.

Interestingly, Malá Baňa also has a self-service buffet as one of the few hills. It has the form of a wooden military box and you can find there not only small snacks but also useful things like newspapers and matches. You will pay either in cash or you will leave here something usefuls for other tourists coming here later.

You can climb up to the top of Malá Baňa even with small children and at any time of year. The marked trail starts above the cemetery near the tram stop "Cintorín Rača" (Rača Cemetery). You can leave your car in the parking lot above the Rača swimming pool. On the top of the hill, you will be led by a blue hiking trail (about 2 km), which leads through a pleasant forest path suitable for cyclists.
