The Museum of Horehronie in Brezno is one of the younger museums in Slovakia. Its permanent exhibition Literary Brezno is located in the renovated premises of the old grainery in the Protestant parish and is divided into three parts.
At the beginning of the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the brief history of literary life in the city. The second part of the exhibition is devoted to the life and works of Martin Rázus. There are exhibits of his manuscripts, book editions of his works and some personal things of the writer. In the third part, literary personalities - from the mid-17th century to the present - are presented in chronological order.
If you are interested in individual or group tours of the Literary Brezno exposition, you must announce your interest at least 2 days in advance by telephone.
