Plavecký Štvrtok is known mainly for cottage areas. At one of them there is a Pieskovňa Lake, surrounded mainly by deciduous and coniferous trees. The lake is smaller and created by nature.
The locality is mainly used by locals. It is an ideal place for walking and enjoying the natural beauty. In summer, the glittering surface of the lake invites you to swim and the sand shores turn to lounging and sunbathing. The lake has a gradual entry into the water, so it is also suitable for families with children.
As with most lakes, bathing is at your own risk. There are no refreshments or sanitary facilities. Near the lakes, at the beginning of the village, there is a parking lot.
