Every little boy dreams of being a soldier. If you have a determined chit at home, or you want to try out what it is like to have a 12 ton armoured monster under your thumb, visit Fričovce near Kežmarok.
This unusual but very attractive experience is offered by Bajonet SK s.r.o. You can have a ride in the armoured BVP transporter, as well as get to know the bowels of this massive army technique. It runs in the field of the village Fričovce near Prešov at a speed of up to 50 km/h.
Depending on the wishes of the customer, it is possible to choose from two routes (an easier one up to 10 km, and more difficult up to 20 km), or you can order the vehicle for a day trip. However, each route has uneven terrain that makes driving on the armoured transporter even more actuating.
For those who are interested, there is also possibility to ride the armoured belt transporter alone under the supervision of an experienced instructor for a surcharge.
