Experience a sailing trip on the Orava dam. It won't be a cruise on a classic cruise ship full of tourists but on a small 7 meter long cabin ship, where you can get involved and assist the captain in steering the ship or possibly take a nap or make tea in a cozy boat cabin. In case of a suitable wind, you can also try a lighter sport sailing. It is an experience suitable for everyone - families, romantic couples and adventurers.
The nature around the Orava dam is beautiful and when viewed from the water, the experience is even stronger. The route is chosen by passengers!
It is necessary to assist the captain of the boat - only one passenger from the age of 15 is needed for assistance - assistance with port maneuvers, towing ropes - almost everyone can do it.
According to the agreement, the duration of the cruise is around 2-3 hours and takes place in daylight. We recommend having warm clothes and raincoat in reserve even if weather is warm. Sailing is possible even in bad weather, but it is uncomfortable - seating for passengers is uncovered.
The experience is suitable for groups of 2-4 people. However, we do not recommend taking children under the age of 11 for a cruise.
The cruise must be arranged a few days in advance.
