The Ski Resort Chopok South is part of the largest ski resort in Slovakia - Jasná Low Tatras. The altitude range in the resort is 1080 - 2024 m above sea level and the total vertical elevation is 944 meters.
It is ocated in the Low Tatras on the southern slopes of Chopok, 22 km from Brezno. There are 8 ski slopes with a total length of 10 km. The variety of terrain offers good skiing for both beginners and experienced skiers. There are 6 lifts and 1 chair lift. Chopok-South is part of the network of Jasná resorts and you can buy a ski pass that is valid in several resorts of the High Tatras.
Of course, there is also a ski kindergarten and a school and cross-country trails around the area.
