The heart of the Slovak Paradise is filled with charming Havrania skala (Raven Rock). It is one of the most prominent peaks in the area. Raven Rock is characterized by very steep rocky cliffs falling south and southeast into the valley of the Greater Zajf.
Raven Rock is relatively easy to access. In the first meters, the journey is really undemanding and easy. Later, however, you will get more sweaty at a steep climb by overcoming the height meters. If you want to relax a bit during your trip, you can stop at the Occasional Spring.
From the top parts of Raven Rock, you can enjoy beautiful views of the wide surroundings, from which you will be struck dumb. Indeed, it is worth to sit here a bit and just look into the distance.
In the Raven Rock massif, there are several smaller caves, some of which are accessible even along official hiking trails. The Raven Rock area includes also an educational trail that starts in Dedinky.
The popular starting point for rock tours is the village of Stratená (about 3.5 km away), Stratenská Pila, Dedinky (about 5 km away), but also Geravy and Dobšinská Ice Cave.
