The House approaches the life of the middle class in Stará Ľubovňa. The house is furnished with period furniture mostly from the 19th century. A unique feature of the House of the Ľubovňa burgher is the revealed vault of a perfectly preserved black kitchen with cooking equipment, as well as a burgher's study room, living room and bedroom.
The tour is also enriched with old photographs from the life of Ľubovňa people. The entire exhibition is enriched with antique accessories, many of which are gifts from the descendants of the old families from Stará Ľubovňa.
The Ľubovňa burgher's house is accessible from the cellar, where the exposition of the blueprint workshop is installed up to the attic, where you can learn more about crafts and guilds in Stará Ľubovňa and its surroundings.
At the end of the 18th century, the formerly important craft town Stará Ľubovňa had its own currency, the so-called Golden of Ľubovňa. The House of the Ľubovňa burgher dusted off this tender, so you have a unique opportunity to mint your coin yourself. You can also mint your own red cent of Ľubovňa.
