Beautiful nature around Trenčianske Teplice offers excellent conditions for hiking at any age and weather. If you do not want to aimlessly wander the local mountains, but also learn something about the site, follow the trail of one of the nature trails, namely Educational trail Jeleň - Baračka.

It is a forestry nature trail, which is naturally and historically focused. It will take tourists around the town of Trenčianske Teplice, especially on the southern slopes of Grófovec Hill. The route is about 6 kilometers long and easy. The transition time is estimated to be 2 hours.

The trail starts at the railway station or at the restaurant Baračka. Here, two introductory dashboards will welcome you and there will be an additional six on the route. Individual stops on the nature trail are really colorful and attract even the smallest hikers.

From the infopanels, you will find interesting facts about the history of the spa, the lookout of Jeleň (Deer) and the Legend of the White Deer, the lookout of the Dedovec and the Legend of the Well of Love, of the karst phenomena, of Klokoč and Heinrich's spring and the Legend about the discovery of sources.
