The museum is a non-profit organization focusing and specializing in production techniques and technologies, ways of subsistence, food, housing, clothing culture and folk art culture of the inhabitants of eastern Slovakia.
The museum is located at the KVP housing estate and will enchant you with its diverse, folk exterior decoration, which stands out perfectly among the prefabs. The museum got its distinctive name because it contains mainly objects that people used to have in the so-called "barn floors".
The muse also hides the world's singleton - blue painted furniture with floral patterns. The interior of the museum is simply a magical and beautiful place full of colors blending with ancient history.
Admission to the museum is free. The museum also offers its premises for family celebrations, weddings and folklore events.
