Description
The beautiful alpine environment of Starý Smokovec offers not only amazing hiking trails, but perfect places for fun and sport too. As part of your visit to the High Tatras, you can try a ride on a racing sled in a tilted, artificial toboggan run, approximately 100 meters long.
It is the first and only attraction of its kind in Slovakia, where you can try an adrenaline, but absolutely safe ride on real racing sleds. The drive simulator also includes a camera system and a time meter.
The ice track is artificially cooled and covered, allowing to operate even under adverse external conditions. It is used even in the summer when roller sledging is used.
The sledge trainer is also used to practice drive away of sledge. Various events for the public, as well as championship competitions, are being regularly held on the sledge simulator in Starý Smokovec.
