If you are wandering around Slovak Paradise, you should definitely not omit Zejmarská Ravine. Such beautiful nature is rarely seen.
The wild, rugged but truly enchanting relief of this ravine was created by a flow running from the Gerava Plain. And it is this creek that creates in the ravine a fairy-tale waterfalls called Nálepka Waterfalls. A great source of this stream is the massive exsurgence - Zejmarská well.
National Nature Reserve Zejmarská Ravine is the only accessible ravine in the southern part of the Slovak Paradise. With its length of only 800 meters, it is the shortest ravine in the Slovak Paradise.
Zejmarská Ravine is located near the village of Dedinky. It is accessible by a one-way, blue-marked hiking trail from the mouth of Zejmarská Ravine. The passage through the ravine is unpretentious, but in certain sections the trail is also provided with ladders or chains.
If the hike through the ravine is not enough for you, it is possible to continue hiking through the Kyseľa Valley towards Kláštorisko or across the valley of the White Creek towards Čingov.
Zemjarská Ravine is also part of the circular educational trail NCH Slovenský raj from the village Dedinky. The trail is nearly 1 0km long and the transition takes about 3 hours.
