Whether it's summer or winter, hiking is always a good time. Go and get to know the beauties of the Kremnica Hills right in the Bystrica Saddle and, in addition to the experiences, suck in a lot of positive energy.
Bystrica Saddle is located above Banská Bystrica at 1,190 m above sea level. It belongs to the Kremnica Hills and is a crossroads of several hiking trails. The location is very popular among tourists and it is not a wonder, as nature is beautiful and the hike itself is not demanding, so it is also suitable as a family trip.
You will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and indulged in the summer-house. In winter, this place is also an attractive cross-country trail.
The trip to Bystrice saddle starts in the recreation centre Králiky from where you will be led by a blue-marked hiking trail to Skalka. The ascent is 1.5 km long and the route is double-sided. The steeper climb awaits you just below Bystrica Saddle.
From Bystrica Saddle, the trail then continues alongside the transmitter on the Suchá hora - Skalka to the ski resort itself.
