In Rajec on SNP Square, near the building of the town museum, a approximately 5 km long educational trail begins. On 12 information panels, located along the road, it will acquaint you with the local nature and history.

The path leads from the Municipal Museum towards the Veronika thermal swimming pool and continues across the Dubová mountain massif. Relaxation zones with benches and tables are built in three selected places with a nice view of the surroundings, where you can refresh and relax. The tourist trail continues along the ridge of the Dubová hill to to the ruins of Rajecký Castle. In this part there is also a palisade - a replica of the defense of Rajecký Castle.

The return to Rajec leads through the village of Jasenové along the existing tourist trail along the Čierňanka stream.

The nature trail is not demanding and can be managed even by inexperienced tourists and children. The whole route with the return to Rajec takes about 4 hours.
