Mini Open-Air Museum is situated near the amphitheater and the local railway in Medzilaborce. The whole area of this mini-museum is dedicated to the traditional life and culture of Ruthenians. The mini-open-air museum offers a view of the Ruthenian village in the past through the reduced effigies of residential and farm buildings as well as the characteristic log church.
All miniature replicas of houses and buildings are authentic and handcrafted from traditional materials such as wood, clay or straw. The mini open-air museum was built as part of the second phase of the Warhol city project - changing the image of the town and is directly linked to the existence of the Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art.
During the tour, visitors are also offered a lecture presentation. The Mini Open Air Museum is also used as a venue for various regular cultural events.
