Ostrva is one of the most visited Tatra peaks. It reaches an altitude of 1984 m above sea level. It is located on the side ridge of Končistá Hill, with beautiful views of the Mengusovská and Zlomiskova Valley.
Ostrva Hill is well-known to tourism enthusiasts thanks to its unmistakable winding path leading to the mountain from Poprad Mountain Lake. Thanks to the long winding trails, this path is comfortable, and in addition it provides beautiful views of Poprad Mountain Lake and surrounding peaks.
Under the western wall of Ostrva, there is a well-known and frequently visited symbolic cemetery of the victims of the Tatras. There are two approaches to Ostrva: from Popradské pleso (about 2 km), which is a more used approach and then from Batizovský pleso (about 4 km).
Ostrva peak is pleasantly large, which makes it a pleasant and relatively undemanding tourism for all categories of tourists.
