If you long for the atmosphere of old times, you should head to the Biela ulica (White street). It is here that the building, which became the headquarters of the Shop in the Museum, combines a traditional shop of Slovak products with a culture of sales, reflecting the first half of the twentieth century.
The museum shop is furnished just like old grocery stores. Visitors can admire authentic masters of the original “colonial”, whose essential part is an exhibition from the collection of the Museum of Commerce Bratislava.
The assortment of the shop is carefully stocked from Slovak products, so you can find here excellent wines, nice art souvenirs or fresh Bratislava rolls. The unique atmosphere is enhanced by the original shop equipment in the form of gracefully restored commercial furniture, signboards, enamelled boards, or cash registers.
The museum shop is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00. The entrance to the exhibition area is free for all visitors.
