There are two water mills in Kvačianska Valley, in the place called Oblazy.
The Upper Mill - Gejdošovský, was built in the first half of the 19th century by the village of Sviňarky (today's Malé Borové). Today, you can observe the renovated mill, as well as the remains of the old mill history. This mill was put into operation and visitors can see the flour milling technology in an ancient way.
The Lower Mill - Brunčiakovský, was built by the village of Veľké Borové at the same time as the upper one. There are two wheels that have driven not only mill equipment but also the old type of saw. Today you can see this saw in a refurbished condition.
Both buildings are open to the public during the tourist season and visitors can also view them from the inside. They are part of the educational trail of Prosiecka and Kvačianska Valley and it is possible to reach them by tourist signs.
