Description
Krivánska Little Fatra is an ideal and popular tourist destination. Its third highest peak is Chleb, which is a natural lookout tower with a charming circular view of everything that your eyes are able to see.
Chleb Hill is suitable for hikes in every season and has a lot to offer in each of them. During the winter months, it is especially skiing and in spring, summer or autumn, it is always filled with a different natural scenery.
Chleb Hill is very well accessible and the climb is not difficult at all. It will be easier for you, for example, by the cable car, which takes tourists from the Vrátna Cottage to the Snilovský Saddle. From there, it is just a pleasant walk on the stone walkway to the top of the Chleb, which takes about 30 - 40 minutes.
Below the hill, there is a cozy Chalet under Chleb. The starting point is usually the Vrátna Cottage. More experienced tourists may also be tempted by the very steep climb from the village of Šútov with more than 1200 meters of elevation.
