Čipčie (926 m.n.m.) is a hill in Lúčanská Mala Fatra above the village Turie. It is one of the lesser known tourist destinations, so don't expect to meet crowds of tourists here. On the contrary you will enjoy peace and silence in the lap of beautiful nature. From the clearing at the top there is an impressive view of a large part of the Rajecká basin.
The starting point of the tour is at the municipal office in the village of Turie, from where a blue marked hiking trail leads to the top. It takes less than 2 hours (approx. 3 km) from Turie to the top at a leisurely pace. The easy ascent leads through meadows and forests, and even children can handle it without any problems. From several views along the road, you can enjoy the landscape below you.
