If you long for a hike between the rocky cliffs, which will lead you to the heights, we recommend climbing to the Hoblík Hill. This interesting hill of Little Fatra is characterized by its distinctive conical shape as well as by the beautiful rocky cliffs, with its south-eastern slopes.
Hoblík Hill is attractive especially for its diverse rock formations, but also for several smaller caves such as Hoblíková and Višňovská Cave. However, caves are not accessible to the public. From the top parts of Hoblík, you can see nice views of Minčol and Valientov diel hills, the quarries of the hill of Polom, or the Višňovská Valley.
There are no marked trails leading to the summit, but the hill itself and its surroundings are a rich tangle of walked trails that are perfect for wandering. You can get here from the villages of Višňová and Stráňava. Most of the route lead through a beautiful forest but also includes a heavier terrain and therefore the ascent is not suitable for beginners or children.
For those who like a more dynamic and adrenaline hike, we recommend climbing the top of the Hoblík Hill via ferrata. The Ferrata to Hoblík is built above the village of Višňové, below the Hoblík's peak. There are two secured roads, using rocky terrain. The left side is equipped with ladders and cramps.
