Summer spent in the immediate vicinity of the water reservoir and surrounded by the beauty of nature is a wonderful idea. The Lipovina water reservoir, where you can enjoy the proper summer refreshment, will help you to forget about the city life and hurried times.
The Lipovina reservoir was built in 1968 at the local Jabloňovka stream. It has an area of 25 ha and maximum depth of 9.7 meters. Nowadays, It is mainly used for recreational purposes, water sports and fishing.
During the summer, in the sun-warmed lake water, you can swim, bath, but also boat if you like.
The shores of the lake are mild with gradual entry into the lake. They are covered with grassy and tree-like vegetation, which provides a desired shadow during the heat.
You can stay in the local recreation area of Lipovina, where you can also camp. There are also buffets here, offering fast food, cold drinks and great ice cream.
There is no lifeguard service at the reservoir, thus, swimming is at your own risk.
