It is an outburst andesite formation, which consists of two rock formations, namely the smaller but higher hill of Little Snina Rock (1005 m asl) and the lower but larger hill of Big Snina Rock (998 m). The rocky cliffs are accessible to tourists by means of iron stairs and provide a wonderful panoramic view of the surroundings of Snina. There is also a simple cross on Big Snina Rock. The foot of the hill is made of stony rubble shallow soils.
Snina Rock is a frequent tourist destination and is a crossroads of hiking trails leading from Zemplínske Hámre, Snina and the ridge of the mountains. The Tri Table saddle is connected to the Sea Eye and to the village of Remetské Hámre, eastward to Nežabec and the village of Podhoroď.
