If you ever come to Trnava, do not miss the tour of the synagogue that dominates the park in Halenárska Street. First and foremost, everyone will be impressed by the beautiful exterior architecture. The synagogue dates back to the second half of the 19th century and is now a cultural monument serving the arts.

The Synagogue - Center of Contemporary Art is part of the Ján Koniarek Gallery in Trnava. There is a permanent exhibition of Judaica from the collections of the Jewish community and the Museum of Jewish Culture of the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava. The gallery belongs to the international network of institutions dealing with contemporary art. There are exhibition projects that often reflect the historical memory of the building and its genius loci.

The magnificent building of the synagogue, which emits the spirit of history and oriental elements, offers an ideal space for holding various chamber and alternative concerts. In front of the synagogue building, there is a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, which they built after World War II.
