in the Kremnické vrchy, in the valley, which has the character of a canyon, a right-side nameless tributary of the Turová stream created a beautiful Turovský waterfall. The locality is known by the name "Padalo" or "Rocky Waterfall".
The environment in which the Turov waterfall is located is truly beautiful and may remind you of the atmosphere of the Slovak Paradise. The waterfall is 15 meters high and its origin is tectonic. The waterfall is permanent and more or less does not dry up, but it shows itself in full beauty especially after heavy rains or in the spring.
A trip to Turovský waterfall is a great opportunity to spend your free time with family and friends. Waterfall is easily accessible from the village of Turová (about 500m). The walkaway is marked so you will have no problem with orientation. There is an information board next to the waterfall. There is also another local attraction - Turovský funnel. It is an erosion-exposed volcanic throat.
