Veľké Ostré Ski Resort is located 5 km east of the town of Kysucké Nové Mesto - on the southern slope of Veľké Ostré Hill.
Visitors will find 2 ski lifts suitable especially for recreational skiers here. Parents with children can use the children's ski lift or ski kindergarten. The resort also offers night skiing.
There are many cross-country trails in the surrounding countryside too.
