Andrássy's Picture Gallery in Krásnohorské Podhradie was built by Dionysus Andrássy in 1908-1909, the owner of the beautiful Krásna Hôrka estate, in order to place his valuable art collection. On the northern facade of the richly structured building is a colourful majolica reliefdepicting the Madonna on the throne.
During World War II, the building was severely damaged and began to deteriorate. After a small adjustment, it was used for housing purposes, later for club activities, as a library and as a warehouse.
In 1990, the original mission was restored and an exhibition of works of art was set up here again. At present, Andrássy's Picture Gallery in Krásnohorské Podhradie provides space for seasonal exhibitions.
