Once upon a time, there was a good gobblin Mikluš, living somewhere in the middle of a magical forest. Obviously, these are words with which you could start your adventure trip, where exploring the beautiful nature is enriched by a fairy-tale atmosphere and a lot of fun not only for adults but especially for children.
This fabulous walkway can be found in the village of Miklušovce, near Prešov. The beginning of the sidewalk is located at the top end of the village, right next to the bus stop. There you will be welcome by the first information board with a description of the route. The whole fairytale trail is slightly demanding, it is about 5 km long and you can overcome it in 1-1,5 hours.
According tofolk-tale the inhabitants of Miklušovce owe for this beautiful and flourishing forest to the work of cute gobbit. During the journey, you will be accompanied by the story of Mikluš the Gobblin and if you are lucky, you may also see him.
Behind the village, there is a pathway to the forest, where it continues by a climb and through the meadows to the ridge of the rock, where the gobblin has its house and the highest point is the outlook where the goblin sits. The walkaway then continues to the mysterious forest, where riddles testing your acuity for your senses are waiting for you.
More well-bodied hikers can decide to end their trip in the village or go on a longer trail in the direction of Klenov and from there to Roháčka.
