Not far from Plavecké Podhradie, there is a piece of the beautiful region of the Little Carpathians - the Klokoč Nature Reserve, which also includes the mountain of the same name. This is a less visited site for tourists, so you can enjoy the tour in the most particular detail.
Due to its character, the Klokoč ridge is quite different from the surrounding hills. Thanks to its volcanic origin and distinctive wilderness it seems as if it did not belong to the Little Carpathians. Hiking in this area is unpretentious and from the top and the whole ridge, there are beautiful views of the surrounding ridges of the Little Carpathians.
The Klokoč peak itself is marked by a small wooden cross, into which even a nail can be hammered. At the same time, there is also a top visiting book. The southeastern slope of the hill is covered by the Klokoč nature reserve with a rich range of protected plants and animals.
There are several marked hiking trails leading to Klokoč, for example, from Plavecké Podhradie (about 7 km), Plavecký Mikuláš (about 7 km), Sološnice, but also from Dolné and Horné Orešany.
