The Memorial House of Francis II Rákoczi, the so-called Rodošto, is open to the public in the area of Executioner bastion in the courtyard of Hrnčiarska Street in Košice. In a way, the house brings a little orient to the historical center of Košice, as it was created as a replica of the exile house, located in the Turkish seaside town of Terikdag.
There is a permanent exhibition Eastern Slovakia Museum in the Rodošto premises, dedicated to this important prince of Hungary. The exposition of each visitor draws into the environment in which Rákoczi and his comrades lived their exile life. The exhibition brings the person of Prince Francis II. Rákoczi closer and last but not least also his ceremonial funeral in Košice.
The central element of the entire Memorial House is a large dining room, many of which are allegedly made and decorated by Rákoczi himself. Among the exhibits on display are rare pieces such as period weapons, engravings, artworks, demonstrations of insurgent coinage and medal, Turkish period furniture and items from Rákoczi's personal property.
In 2006, a bronze statue of Francis II Rákoczi was placed in front of the replica of the Turkish Asylum House.
