In 1968, Milan Rastislav Štefánik began to become known again after the political changes in Czechoslovakia. Visitors started to visit Bradlo - the last resting place of M. R. Štefánik - and stopped at his birthhouse in Košariská, who then served as an evangelical vicarage. Here, the idea of turning the birthplace to a museum was born.
Today it is a memorial museum, which through its exposition gives a comprehensive view of Štefánik's personality. In six rooms, his life, privacy and hobbies are documented, but especially his military, diplomatic and political activities.
The most important exhibits include Štefánik's uniform of the Brigadier General of the French Army, part of the Parisian apartment and a set of objects from Oceania.
