Medical Garden is a popular Bratislava public park with well-kept lawns, flower beds and old trees, which creates ideal conditions for relaxation and culture.
In the past, the Medical Garden was known for its wealth of rare species of plants and flowers. Back in the 19th century, it was purchased by Count Esterházy, and during his ownership the garden reached its peak. Today, the Medical Garden is part of the busy city center and this space serves for short-term walks and staying in the countryside.
In addition, many interesting events are held here as part of the Cultural Summer. Visitors can expect a mix of entertainment such as theater performances, creative workshops for children, concerts and various exercises. In the summer reading room you can sit and read a number of domestic and foreign magazines and newspapers. There is also a tea house where various events are held, including tastings, lectures and live music with performances by players on classical musical instruments such as violins, harps, drums and the like.
Whether you are a tourist or a local resident, you definitely shouldn't miss a visit to this wonderful park.
